Almond Financier Cakes - recipe with photo

Almond Financier Cakes

Financiers are small cakes that look like gold bars. They are exceptionally tender and literally melt in your mouth, making them a wonderful addition to morning coffee or tea. Round molds may be used instead of rectangular ones, provided the batter layer does not exceed 1.5 cm.
