  • flour 200-250 g
  • salt

Instructions

Step 1 of 12

Mix the egg with kefir.

Step 2 of 12

Stir in salt, baking powder and flour. Knead into a medium-density dough. Cover it with a towel and place in a warm spot for 1 hour.

Step 3 of 12

Season the minced meat with salt and pepper, then mix.

Step 4 of 12

Roll out the dough sheet.

Step 5 of 12

Spread the minced meat over the surface of the dough, leveling it out.

Step 6 of 12

Roll up the dough with the filling into a log.

Step 7 of 12

Cut the log into pieces 2–3 cm wide. Leave them for 15 minutes.

Step 8 of 12

Finely chop the onion.

Step 9 of 12

Peel the potatoes and cut them into large pieces.

Step 10 of 12

In a wide deep pot, sauté the onion in vegetable oil until golden brown.

Step 11 of 12

Add the potatoes to the onion. Pour in water so that it covers the vegetables by ⅓. Add salt and pepper and bring to a boil.

Step 12 of 12

Place the strudels on top of the potatoes (not too tightly, as they will increase in size during cooking). Cover with a lid and simmer over low heat for 40–50 minutes.
