Nut Pie
A magnificent dessert! The soft dough pairs perfectly with nuts in a caramel-cream sauce. I recommend using walnuts. This quantity of ingredients makes 6-8 servings.

Preparing the dough
Step 1 of 15
Cream the butter and sugar.
Step 2 of 15
Add the eggs.
Step 3 of 15
Mix well.
Step 4 of 15
Add flour and baking powder. Knead the mixture. Place the dough in a bag and put it in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
Preparing the filling
Step 5 of 15
Chop the nuts with a knife or blender, trying to keep some pieces.
Step 6 of 15
Pour sugar into a dry frying pan.
Step 7 of 15
Melt the sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until it turns brown (no need to add anything else). It is important to prevent burning. In my case, the process took 20 minutes.
Step 8 of 15
Gradually pour cream into the melted sugar and stir.
Step 9 of 15
Add honey.
Step 10 of 15
Mix well.
Step 11 of 15
Bring the mixture to a boil, stir in the nuts. Mix and remove from heat. Let the mixture cool.
Step 12 of 15
Divide the dough into 2 parts. Spread the first part into a baking pan (24 cm in diameter) greased with butter or lined with parchment paper. Form sides 3 cm high.
Step 13 of 15
Place the filling on top and level it.
Step 14 of 15
Roll out the second part of the dough, cover the filling with it, and pinch the edges. Place the pie in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Bake for 30–35 minutes.
Step 15 of 15
Let the finished product cool completely (dust with powdered sugar if desired) and divide into servings.
